Biography

Lisa joined our Firm in 2020.

Lisa provides critical support for the Firm’s tax, banking, dispute resolution services and International Law and CSME portfolios. Lisa provides critical legal advice and opinions to our clients on a wide range of complex legal issues arising in many practice areas, and she routinely provides support to our litigation teams as an instructing attorney.

Prior to joining our Firm, Lisa developed her litigation and advisory skills at another established law firm in Trinidad and Tobago, and she also earned considerable international law experience while working with several different multinational organizations, including the International Bar Association, the Organization of American States, the Inter-American Human Rights Commission, the United Nations Development Programme and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Trinidad and Tobago and has served as a consultant for various national and international development projects and policies.

Lisa, a Fulbright Scholar, holds a Master’s degree in General Studies. She also partners with an international legal services provider to support and mentor young Caribbean Attorneys, provides strategic legal support to local Non-governmental organisations and provides pro bono legal support to local artisans and entertainers.

Lisa is a songstress and patron of the cultural arts, in particular parang, and she regularly mentors youths on their career trajectories and the development of life skills.
